The students from Grace Baptist Academy came to visit Mom last Friday. The kids sang, gave testimonies, brought cards and came by individually to say good-bye.Before they left, the principal proclaimed every February 1 Carol Teaney Day at the Academy. The students will be given the day off every year to honor Mom's memory. She taught in the school for 12 years prior to her health-induced retirement last May.
Mom feels deeply honored by this gesture.
